Stuck In My Head
Have you ever gotten a song stuck in your head. The song I've got stuck in my head is a pretty hilarious one.
This morning while reading several blogs, Missy of the Universe put a video on her post that she said was hilarious. I couldn't get the whole thing to play so I went to YouTube, found it and it loaded from there. It's pretty funny. Anyway, one of the songs that this group was mocking was "You Spin Me Right Round Baby"--not sure if that's the actual title of the song. And now I can't get it out of my head.
This has happened to me more frequently. Maybe it's because there is nothing swirling around in my brain, so whatever gets caught in the vast wasteland of knowledge up there, gets repeated over and over, much like the record in the song.

Aaagh I always enjoy entries about memorable songs/shows/movie lines. Missy picked a funny video. Who are these dudes? Right now I can't get rid of the song "The Bad Touch" by Bloodhound Gang. Hehehe. From the album Hooray For Boobies. What would we do without such memorable songs?

I did a post on "earworms" a long time ago. Remember - these songs get stuck because your brain is trying to close the loop, or finish the song.
So the only way to get rid of an earworm is to play the entire song.

I always get the Who's song "wwhooooo are you, who who who who" I think thats how it goes.

I don't know if you get this AD where you live, but lately I have been getting the bloody jingle stuck in my head for "free credit report.com"

Agggghhh I hate that AD and now I thought about it the song will be with me all day.

I have this happen quite often, especially since I listen to a radio station that plays the same 15 songs over and over. Or sometimes on my prep period I will go down and listen to the choir and one of their songs gets stuck, it's frustrating. I seem to always sing a song in my head when playing tennis too, weird?
