Let's Talk About the Weather
What is with this scorching heat? I walked outside today to get the mail and a blast of heat came through the front door. If I were in a cartoon, the heat would have been drawn using shades of red, orange and yellow and the animation would have blown my hair backwards!! Honestly, it did not feel good. And the feeling of being outside for just a few minutes was icky. I was all sweaty and I immediately felt my anti-perspirant being pushed to it's maximum limit. This after being outside for just a few minutes.
However, from the windows, it looks awesome outside. Just wish it wasn't so miserably hot.

Sorry about the heat. We had the hottest month ever last month so I can definitely understand. It has been in the low 90s lately and it feels great. Plus we don't have any humidity. Stay cool.

Its horrible stepping out and feeling like a hot wet blanket has been thrown over you.
I sweat more walking to the gym then I do at the gym!
Thank heaven fro AC!

drink lots and lots of water. lay off the dew.
and you might want to concider investing in wrist and head bands to help mop up the sweat.

It's all George Bush's fault! Didn't you know that? The bastard!
Oh no, wait ... it's Al Gore's fault with his global something or other. The bastard!

We have the same heat problems here in Scotland - but we have to open the door of the oven to get the same results.

Water therapy is the way to go! And AC helps too. Good luck.

I just don't go outside anymore unless I have to. It is rediculously hot.

We are getting the same thing, I have to start coaching again Wed so I am hoping it breaks before then.
I will take the heat over the cold though anyday.

It was a lovely weekend in the mountains... only to return to the stark reality of +15deg back in Atlanta.
*sigh*

Gratefully I am in Southern Ca which, by most standards, is the epicenter of heat, however, lately it has been a balmy and comfortable 85...I hope it stays this way!

I prefer the cold weather really. Hate the heat. Hate taking public transport when it's hot. It's only nice when looking out from inside the cool house or when there's a pool or beach a few steps away...

It's def. hot here. In the triple digits. We went from a whole summer of rain everyday to the last few weeks of not a drop of rain and heat indexes of 108 in Houston. This sucks.

If you were here, you'd wish it wasn't so miserably cold. Everything balances up.
