Mother Nature

This weekend I enjoyed pretty fantastic weather. Our temps were close to 70. For West Virginia, this time of the year, that is pretty fantastic. But today the temps had dropped and as I was driving home from church today, the snow began to fall. Not really snow, but very slushy like rain. Not sure where I'm going with this post. I guess I just wanted to say that like the weather, my ups and been pretty sporadic lately. But I keep telling myself that it's the start of a new year. I've been to the gym three times this week (counting Sunday and Saturday). My buddies and I want to do a 5k color run. I know, that isn't really much to train for, you could practically do it on a whim. However, I do want to get under 30 minutes. I am shooting for about 25-27 minutes. I would also like to walk a marathon. I know, doesn't sound sooo exciting. But I will eventually run one. I'm not quite sure when, but I do want to say one day that I did run a marathon. I hope that everyone else has had better weather. I'm going to chalk up my horrid day to the weather. Can't really pinpoint where my day went wrong. Work was actually fun today. At the gym, I ran a 3.5 miles on the treadmill, although it took me over thirty minutes. Have a great week, I'll see you guys soon.

  • Have a great weekend too, and I will gladly take your weather. We have been in the single digits for a long time now. Good luck with the training.

  • Good Luck with the training!! I would think that running a marathon is a huge goal - maybe because I am such a terrible runner. I hope that you have more happy moments and less "ice storms". Hope to hear from you soon.

  • Powodzenia na bieżni. Mniej ważne kto pierwszy dobiegnie do mety ważne by do niej dotrzeć.
