Brilliant Advertising

I have come to the conclusion (duh) that putting a rating on video games, DVDs and CD's will often boost sales. DVD's with the "uncut directors version", games rated "not suitable for minors" and CD's with "explicit lyrics" often to sell off the shelves much faster.

Really, are they really trying to warn buyers? I think they are trying to get their attention and say "buy me"!! Look how well "warning" labels have worked for other products!

So I'm wondering if I start cursing in my blog, if it will get more readership.

More important: Have a safe and happy Memorial Day. God Bless and Keep Safe our soldiers/troops/military. And let's remember those in the military who have given their lives for our country.

  • Meantion porn actress and vulgar terms to describe the female anatomy and you'll get even more visitors since that is what fuels the internet anyway.

  • The well meaning idjits that came up with the Explicit Rating on CD's didn't realize a fundamental rule of nature. The more you try to censor something the more that the word will spread.
