Idol Season

I think I may have figured out the song from the preview. It may be Jon Mclaughlin's Beautiful Disaster. I am not sure yet because I have to see the preview again. I'm sure the artist is either Jon, James Morrison or Mat Kearney. I've been listening to those artists on my iPod for the last month while using the eliptical at the gym.

So I'm pretty sure I have a few favorites on American Idol. I hope that these guys make the cut tonight during Hollywood week. I'm glad it's Hollywood week because at least we are beyond the goofy auditions. I'm almost convinced that some of the people that try out disastrously are just there to be on the show. Do they really think that they deserve to make it to number one?

Anyone else have their favorites yet? Or are you like many of my friends indifferent?

  • I'm with you...the goofy auditions are too much. I only watch a few minutes here and there of the auditions. I usually start watching Idol after the first few eliminations of the real competition.
The elliptical is hard. I still go with the treadmill. I have found it is much easier for me to stay on a routine with good workouts when I go in at 5:30am.
    Happy Valentine's day Angel!

  • I went to look and see who made the Top 24 because I missed it last night. I was surprised not to see the 16 yr old guy with dark hair....I thought he was really good. I also like Amy the blonde, I think from CA. There are several on there that I don't remember at all...where did they come from?

  • You know I must be the only person who does not watch AI, it just does not interest me at all.

    Happy V day AJ

  • I am with Pixie. I don't watch Idol and would rather drive a railroad spike through my face than watch that show.

  • I just listen to it while I'm on the computer, Its very entertaining and yes, people just come to be on tv but there are a few that must be straight out nuts!

  • The goofy tryouts are the only part I like until the final ten or so.

  • That show tests my patience...I have none...so maybe I should watch it to gain some.

  • I usually stop watching after the auditions.

  • I have tons of favorites. I like the rocking nurse because she has a connection to my hometown that's where she's employed! There are two other Indiana people but I have never heard them sing.

I like that young kid David that was on star search and won the jr division, he's going to be good, and the Aussie who sang Bohemian Rhapsody. We'll see though

I don't like the bad auditions either they drag on

  • Hey Angel, didn't know you were an Idol fan. We get the American version fast-tracked through our cable network, and I missed some of the first programs, and am not sure who made the final lot. Did the Aussie guy make it ? he's good ... hope he wins.
Hope you are well, and keeping out of mischief !!!
    Take care, Meow
